Grady Grateful Patient

Brandice Thorn of Sugar Hill shared the following story about her experience at Grady.

“After a nearly fatal accident in 2020, resulting in severing my femoral artery, a broken femur and many other injuries landed me at Grady, I'm forever grateful for all the teams of doctors, nurses, staff and more who worked tirelessly to save my leg and my life. I was in Grady for nearly three months during COVID, have had countless surgeries and hardware implanted (and explanted), and without a doubt I'm here because of Dr. Mara Schenker's ortho team, Dr. Christopher Ramos' vascular team, Dr. David Gimble's neuro team and all the trauma teams and nurses who fought to keep me alive.”
