Thank you Ida Alice Ryan Charitable Trust for supporting spinal cord rehab
Our thanks to the Ida Alice Ryan Charitable Trust, a long-time supporter of Grady, for investing in our efforts to address mental health, food insecurity and spinal cord injury rehabilitations.
The Trust recently donated $20,000 to our Spinal Cord Injury Unit’s rehabilitation program, which helps those with traumatic spinal cord injuries through comprehensive inpatient, outpatient and community-based care that reduces complications and supports long-term recovery.
This grant gives Grady the ability to provide uninsured and under-insured patients with the equipment and supplies needed to address their injuries. It also allows program staff to attend training and conferences to strengthen their clinical practice and improve patient outcomes.
Thanks to this gift, Grady’s SCI unit is now better equipped to reduce preventable complications and readmissions while supporting our patients’ reintegration into the community.
