New clinics expand Grady care in DeKalb County
Grady celebrated the opening of two new outpatient centers in DeKalb County this month. The new Flat Shoals and Candler Outpatient Centers are improving access to primary and specialty care for patients in DeKalb County.
The Flat Shoals clinic offers a full range of services, including primary care, behavioral health, nephrology, general surgery and orthopedics. Additionally, the center offers on-site imaging, including X-rays, CT scans and mammography, and laboratory services to deliver quicker test results and more efficient patient care.
The Candler clinic is delivering trusted care in Decatur, including wellness visits and chronic-care support, same-day checkups and lab services, virtual visits and an expert team that focuses on family health.
In her remarks at the Flat Shoals ribbon-cutting, Dr. Nitasha Burney-Fleming, Grady’s chief ambulatory officer, said, “Every step forward in DeKalb is a step to bringing health care to a community that needs it.”
