Grady supports new health care pathway for students

Grady is expanding its commitment to building a healthier Atlanta through a new partnership with the Academy for Innovation in Medicine (AIM), a tuition-free, health care-focused public charter school opening in fall 2026 for sixth- and ninth-grade students.

AIM integrates rigorous STEMM (science, technology, engineering, math and medicine) curriculum with dual enrollment, allowing students to graduate with a high school diploma, an associate’s degree and career credentials, ready to earn a living wage or continue their education.

This partnership builds on the strong foundation of Grady’s Teen Experience and Leadership Program (TELP), which has introduced students to health care through exposure, mentorship and leadership development.

Together, TELP and AIM create a continuum of opportunity – from early exploration to career-connected learning and workforce readiness.

If you have a child, family member or mentee interested in health care, this pathway was built with them in mind. Learn more on the AIM website.
