Grady Grateful Patient

Margaret Wilson McLain, of Marietta, Georgia, shared the following story about her experience at Grady.

“I love Grady. I had to move to Marietta with my daughter two years ago due to illness. I was hospitalized here in Cobb County and referred to physicians in the area. For the entire two years, I have been treated for angioedema and lymphoedema. My skin on my left leg has broken open in two places. I have not been able to eat properly for two years. My upper lip has been inflamed and swollen for a year. The health care professionals have not been able to help me heal.

My daughter said, come Monday morning, we're going to Grady. They are the best in the southeast. I came to you guys in August. I am relieved. They took a biopsy of my lip, took me off all the meds I had been on, they prescribed two new meds and I am on the mend.”
