Congratulations TELP Class of 2025

More than 680 Atlanta high school students recently completed Grady’s Teen Experience and Leadership Program (TELP), a transformative eight-week opportunity to learn about health care careers, cultivate their leadership skills and connect with inspiring mentors.

TELP, an initiative of the Office of Health Outcomes, is open to youth in high school and between the ages of 14-19. The students get first-hand experience in the health care system by shadowing Grady professionals during four-hour shifts. Through the program, they explore a variety of health occupations and gain valuable experience for college and career opportunities.

As part of its annual tradition, TELP provides essential community resources to a designated service line at Grady. This year, TELP is supporting Grady’s tiniest patients – the babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Labor and Delivery, and Newborn Nursery. TELP participants help ensure that newborns and their families receive the vital items they need during some of life’s most critical moments. This commitment reflects TELP’s dedication to promoting positive health outcomes, community service and nurturing leadership among the next generation.
