See our new south Fulton County emergency department

Our new freestanding emergency department in south Fulton County is open for business!

Check out this new video that gives you a tour of this state-of-the-art facility. It is designed to meet the growing need for emergency medical services in metro Atlanta and includes 16 exam bays, multiple triage rooms, resuscitation and observation areas, and advanced imaging, lab services and a pharmacy. It also has a dedicated ambulance entrance and a helipad for flight transfers to area hospitals.

The emergency department, located south of I-20 in Union City, is the first phase of Grady South, which will include a medical office building opening in 2027, and a new, 200-bed, full-service hospital expected in 2031.
