Move For Grady Raises important Funding for Access to Healthcare

Nearly 1,500 participants enjoyed a Saturday afternoon supporting access to quality healthcare for all. What began as a cycling-only affair years ago has now blossomed into a cycling, running, and walking event, with Grady and our mission taking center stage. Move For Grady represents the inclusive spirit of Grady itself, warmly welcoming participants of all abilities and ages.

Held at Bouckaert Farm in Chattahoochee Hills, the event brought together enthusiastic cyclists and passionate runners, corporate entities, civic groups, generous donors, and even members of Team Grady who rallied together to mark the beginning of National Hospital and National Nurses Weeks. Participants embarked on various routes, from a challenging 100-mile cycling trail to a 5K course offering breathtaking views of Bouckaert Farm. Crossing the finish line marked the start of the Finish-Line Festival, complete with live music, food and beverages, arts and crafts, Big Peach Kids' Dash, and an appearance by the beloved Grady Furlunteers

Through the support of fundraisers and corporate contributions, GHF raised more than $900,000, investing in Atlanta's only Level 1 Trauma Center and safety net hospital. The funds raised play an important role in supporting life-saving and life-transforming programs. From tackling food insecurity among patients and providing timely cancer screenings and treatment to facilitating groundbreaking initiatives such as the award-winning Heart & Vascular Center and the comprehensive Burn Center — each program and service shares a common goal: providing a continuum of care for anyone who calls Atlanta home.

Thank you to everyone that rode, ran, walked, volunteered, and donated for Move For Grady. We can’t wait to see you in 2024! Stay tuned for exciting updates.

The tremendous success of Move For Grady would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our Champion Sponsors and our other invaluable sponsors and partners listed here.
