Grady showcases success of Military-Civilian Partnership Program

Grady recently hosted a delegation of representatives from the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR) and congressional staff to share how we work with military leaders to strengthen emergency preparedness, enhance provider training and support the nation’s medical readiness.

During the tour, military providers and leadership from the Ranger Regiment offered a compelling overview of Grady’s efforts to advance preparedness and integration with the national medical system. Physicians and nurses from the Grady Marcus Trauma Center, along with our emergency medicine and EMS providers, also demonstrated the depth and quality of care delivered through the Grady Trauma program.

As one of the nation's busiest trauma centers, Grady provides exceptional training and experience for military providers, while our system, in turn, continues to benefit from the lessons and expertise gained through military medical experience.
