Meet Teresa Swope

Teresa Swope

senior Manager of operations & Stewardship

Teresa joined the Grady Health Foundation team in January 2019 as the Development Operations Manager. She brings years of experience in fundraising database management and operations to the table, having spent over a collective 12 years at the Atlanta Community Food Bank and Agnes Scott College before coming to Grady. She believes that good data, targeted analysis and streamlined processes and procedures are the backbone to all successful organizations. Atlanta wasn’t always her home, having grown up in a small farm town in Iowa and graduated from Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa. Joining Team Grady was a dream-come-true, believing strongly in Grady’s commitment to health equity, community health and best-in-class medical care and training. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with friends. Most of her spare time is spent with her husband, two very busy children and pet beagle. She currently sits as a board member of Georgia Healthcare Association’s fundraising society “Georgia Association of Development Professionals.”
