Skye Thompson

Foundation and Corporate Relations Manager

Skye Thompson serves as Grady Health Foundation’s Foundation and Corporate Relations Manager. In her role, she has the opportunity to engage with foundations of all sizes across the country to raise funds for Grady’s many programs that address and support patient health. Prior to joining Grady, Skye was the Foundation Relations Manager at the Atlanta Community Food Bank where she got her start in grant management. She spent five of her ten years with the Food Bank crafting proposals to benefit the Food Bank’s extensive 29-county service area. Before becoming the Foundation Relations Manager, Skye developed and managed the Benefits Outreach Program, helping Food Bank clients access public benefits such as SNAP, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. Skye has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Master of Social Work, both from Georgia State University. Skye has a deep passion for giving back to the community. She is a Girl Scout Troop Leader and the Troop Development Coordinator for her local Girl Scout service unit and volunteers her time at her children’s elementary school as a PTA committee chair. In her free time, Skye likes to read, hike, and spend time with her husband and two daughters.
