Nawana Gama

Development Coordinator

Nawana Gama serves as the Development Coordinator for Grady Health Foundation. As a member of the Operations Team of the Foundation, she helps to maintain the integrity of all constituent giving and donor information. Nawana has over 15 years of experience working in development for non-profit organizations. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Saint Peter’s University in Jersey City, New Jersey. It was at Saint Peter’s that Nawana began her career in development, working for the Department of Advancement and Alumni Services, as well as the Department of Institutional Research while still a student at the university. Since graduating, Nawana has gone on to work for organizations such as The Studio Museum in Harlem, the New York City Opera, Families First of Atlanta, St. Vincent’s de Paul Georgia, and The Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation. Nawana has a great passion for helping others and a steadfast determination to take part in improving circumstances for every person that makes up our global community.
