2nd Annual White Coat Grady Gala
Saturday, March 17, 2012
Georgia Aquarium
We invite you to SAVE THE DATE for the second annual White Coat Grady Gala, a black tie dinner and awards ceremony that will be held March 17, 2012 at the Georgia Aquarium.
The 2012 event will be chaired by Kelly and Jeff Sprecher and June and Michael Tompkins. This year’s Presenting Sponsor is the Fulton-DeKalb Hospital Authority. They, along with Premier Sponsor Delta Air Lines, promise an evening of delight, while honoring the contributions of those who have made a difference in the lives of so many.
Grady Health Foundation hosts this evening of celebration to honor some of Atlanta’s healthcare heroes and outstanding philanthropists, along with our awe-inspiring physicians.
Each year, Grady Health Foundation presents the Ada Lee and Pete Correll Healthcare Legacy Award to someone who has gone above and beyond in their contributions to public health care. This year, Grady will honor Mr. Tom Bell.
In addition, Dr. Alfred Brann will be recognized with the Senior Sage Award, Dr. Tamara Espinoza as the Next Gen Healer and Dr. Kenneth Wilson as the Inspiring Mentor.
Grady Hospital has offered premiere Level I trauma services to metro-Atlanta since 1892. This unparalleled care will now be delivered in the newly opened, 12,000 square foot Marcus Trauma Center. Our region depends on contributions from the private sector to advance the work, services and research the hospital provides to our community. Without the generous support of individuals like you, there would be no emergency health care provider in Atlanta with the skills and equipment offered by Grady and its physicians.
Last year, hundreds of Atlantans attended the White Coat Grady Gala honoring Bernie Marcus for his significant contributions to our community’s health care needs. The Ada Lee and Pete Correll Healthcare Legacy Award was presented by Eagle Scout, Thomas Sowell, a brain injury survivor, treated at the Marcus Stroke & Neuroscience Center.
Please plan to attend and be a part of this wonderful once-a-year celebration of our community’s health care heroes. We look forward to seeing you!
